Points of Agreement

To get all GrassRoutes Caravan riders on the same page, and to respect and protect all riders' safety and individuality, the Neverwood Collective has come up with the following points of agreement. All riders will sign on to this list of agreements before riding. Please contact Neverwood with questions, concerns, or clarifications.

1. The ride is a sober space—no alcohol or drugs.
   
2. All riders have read and agreed to our Sexual Assault Policy. (READ!)
   
3. The GrassRoutes Caravan is not a staging ground for planning direct action at the RNC—plan ahead of time, and practice good security culture.
   
4. Respect everyone’s right to express their identity in a safe space. As a village, we will celebrate differences and will not tolerate discrimination or oppression.
   
5. This is a non-violent ride—no weapons and no property destruction.
   
6. For the safety of our riders, we will follow all the rules of the road.
   
7. Logistics (food, water, housing, etc.) will be handled by the Neverwood Collective.
   
8. We will strive to keep long, boring large-group meetings to a minimum.
   
9. Individuals are not required to attend large-group meetings, but must abide by the larger group’s decisions once made.
   
10. Respect our hosts along the route. Show thanks through responsible and respectful clean-up, water use, and land use.
    
11. We strive to build solidarity and trust. We will intentionally create positive, supportive relationships with each other in the spirit of play and cooperation.
    
12. Breech in any of these agreements may be cause for dismissal as decided upon by the Neverwood Collective.
