ABOUT
THE INFOSHOP
The InfoShop is a volunteer-run collective dedicated to serving the Greater Madison/Southwest Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin communities. We offer a range of resources including, but not limited to, books, magazines, videos, and topic files, as well as community organizing space and activist tools. The Madison InfoShop collective is
not
solely the product of one
group, but is actually a larger gathering of radical community groups
in
Madison who
are sharing space and resources. Currently, groups that form part
of the InfoShop include the Madison Fair Trade Action Alliance
(MadFTAA), Madison Free
Speech TV Campaign, and Family Farm
Defenders. In the past, other groups such as the Madison Insurgent
and Independent Media Center have been a part of the InfoShop. The
InfoShop also serves as a drop off point and organizing space for the Wisconsin Books to
Prisoners
Project. The following pages offer answers to frequently-asked-questions about the InfoShop: Where is the InfoShop located? How do I get there? -- Let our location page guide you to the right place!
