Pyongyang - multimedia presentation and discussion with Eric Sirotkin
of the National Lawyers Guild. Eric worked with the ANC on the
new South African constitution in the 1990s and has participated in
international peace forums in Japan, India, Peru, Vietnam, Cuba, and
most recently Korea for which he is the chair of the NLG's Korean Peace

Ave.) Food is a Right not a Privilege - Food Security and Food
Justice in Madison Workshop! Many Eastside residents
need greater access to healthy food choices. The lack of a
grocery in the Worthington Park neighborhood has created a food desert
where convenience stores and fast food chains dominate. Darbo
Community Garden wants to be an oasis in this desert and promote
broader change in the neighborhood food scene. This workshop will focus
on the reality of hunger and poverty amidst plenty on the Eastside.
We'll analyze current local conditions and discuss the role of
urban agriculture in helping ensure food security for low income
families. We believe food is a right not a privilege and are
dedicated to helping everyone in our community gain access to fresh

Joshua Brollier, a co-coordinator for Voices for Creative Nonviolence
(formerly Voices in the Wilderness) in Chicago. The Gaza Freedom
March aimed to challenge Israel’s ongoing siege and blockade of
Gaza. One of over 1300 delegates from 43 countries, Joshua found
the original plans for a march across Gaza and through the Israeli
